Santa Elena is in the far southeast corner of Venezuela near the
Brazilian border. The town itself doesn't have much to offer. What brings
most people to Santa Elena, Venezuela is Roraima Tepui. Beyond that, within
a couple hours drive there are some interesting waterfalls and the opportunity
to see the Gran Sabana, but there really isn't much else.
I hope you enjoy my photos of Santa Elena, Venezuela.
This is a photo of the Gran Sabana just outside of Santa Elena. .

We looked for these anteaters in Los Llanos and found only one - about twice
the size of this guy. But he was running through tall grass and I was not
able to get a photo. This one was being kept as a pet in Santa Elena.
